Feb 20 (Reuters) – Lucid said on Friday it was laying off 12% of its U.S. workforce as the electric-vehicle maker seeks to improve gross margin and long-term growth.
The company had about 6,800 full-time employees globally, as of December 31, 2024.
The cuts will not impact hourly production employees at the company’s manufacturing facility in Arizona, a Lucid spokesperson said in a statement.
TechCrunch first reported the development earlier in day.
