MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – The United States’ embassy in Guatemala said on Tuesday that it found that the Central American nation’s Foreign Ministry computer system was hacked by China-based espionage groups.
The embassy said in a post on X it had carried out a safety revision together with the Guatemalan government and the U.S. Southern Command, during which they found out that the ministry’s computer system was hacked.
