HELSINKI (Reuters) -At least three people have been injured in an act of violence at a school in southern Finland, Finnish police said on Tuesday, adding that the perpetrator had been apprehended.
“According to our current understanding, the victims are not in immediate danger of life,” police said in a statement, adding that they were still searching the premises.
A video published by local newspaper Aamulehti showed several police vehicles near a primary school building located in Pirkkala, located some 180 kilometres north from the capital Helsinki.
