WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that the United State has designated four Cuban regime officials for gross violation of human rights.
The State Department is designating prosecutor Yanaisa Matos Legrá and judges Gladys Maria Padrón Canals, Maria Elena Fornari Conde, and Juan Sosa Orama, according to Rubio.
“As a result, these regime officials and their families are ineligible for entry into the United States,” Rubio said in a statement.
