BEIJING (Reuters) -China’s public security ministry on Wednesday said it will cooperate with the industry ministry and other governing bodies to tighten regulation related to assisted driving systems.
Authorities will urge automakers to carry out driving assistance tests and verification, and clarify boundaries of assisted driving systems and security responses, Wang Qiang, an official with the public security ministry, told a press conference.
