DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – 35 year old Darrius Lamar Plummer was sentenced on Tuesday to 225 months in prison for a fatal stabbing in downtown Duluth last year.
Plummer was found guilty in May of 2nd degree murder for the death of 26 year old Chantel Moose outside a bar on West 1st Street in April of 2024.
The court denied a less serious sentence request calling Plummer’s actions “senseless.”
The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office thanked the Duluth Police for their exhaustive investigation and the U-S Marshal’s Office for their efforts in locating and apprehending Plummer in Michigan.
