ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority announced more than 236 million dollars in loans and grants to 30 projects around the state on Tuesday.
Among the drinking water and waste water projects to be funded are service line replacements in the Lincoln Park, Central Hillside and Fairmount neighborhoods and along London Road in Duluth.
An award of nearly 63 million dollars will allow for lead lines in those areas to be replaced by copper lines.
Fifty service line replacements in the city of Chisholm were also a part of the Public Facilities Authority awards.
