(Reuters) – DuPont on Thursday forecast 2025 net sales of about $6.87 billion, recasting its outlook to reflect the planned spin-off of its electronics unit and the divestiture of its Aramids business.
The revised outlook excludes results from Qnity Electronics, which will be separated on November 1, and the Aramids unit, which will be treated as discontinued operations beginning the third quarter.
Last month, the chemical maker said it will sell its heat-resistant fiber business Aramids, home to brands such as body armor maker Kevlar, to peer Arclin for $1.8 billion as the chemicals company undergoes a broader reorganization.
