(Reuters) -Chevron Corp on Tuesday named Kevin McLachlan as vice president of exploration, succeeding veteran executive Liz Schwarze, who will retire early next year after more than three decades with the U.S. oil major.
McLachlan, whose appointment is effective Nov. 1, most recently served as senior vice president of exploration at TotalEnergies.
McLachlan, who will be based in Houston, will oversee Chevron’s global exploration program and succeed Schwarze, who will retire in February 2026, Chevron said.
