KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) -ASEAN’s five-point plan for peace in Myanmar is not difficult to implement, Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan said on Friday.
Mohamad told reporters after a meeting of his Southeast Asian counterparts that Myanmar was urged to carry out the plan and allow for the distribution of aid. He said the bloc could not stop a general election there later this year but wanted it to be fair and inclusive.
