WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will meet in Washington next week, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said on Tuesday after meeting officials in Uzbekistan.
The visit “should help pave the way for a great meeting between our presidents next week in Washington,” Landau wrote in a post on X. “We very much enjoyed our candid and far-ranging discussion. Many opportunities to partner in the future.”
