DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – On Tuesday night, Duluth Police made a traffic stop in the area of 14th Avenue East and 1st Street.
During the stop, the driver got out of the vehicle but the passenger got into the driver’s seat and fled the scene.
The vehicle was later found abandoned in the 200 block of East 6th Street.
K-9 Gus was called to the scene and was able to track the suspect to a residence in the area. Officers set up a perimeter around the home and eventually made entry.
The 39 year old female suspect was taken to a local hospital and then jailed on pending charges that include 5th degree possession, probation violation and fleeing a police officer.
