DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Two people were taken to a local hospital following a crash Thursday evening at the intersection of the Jean Duluth and Martin Roads.
Duluth Police and St. Louis County Sheriff deputies were joined by other first responders at the two vehicle crash around 6 p-m.
Initial reports said one of the vehicles had rolled over with a person trapped inside and that a vehicle had caught fire.
When authorities arrived on the scene, all of the occupants were outside of the vehicles.
The driver of one of the vehicles was arrested for DUI and Criminal Vehicular Operation and it is believed that speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.
