PRAGUE, Feb 15 (Reuters) – The Druzhba pipeline carrying Russian oil through Ukraine to Hungary and Slovakia may have been fixed after recent damage but Ukraine may be holding up restarting supplies to pressure Hungary to drop it opposition to Ukraine’s future membership in the European Union, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Sunday.
“I perceive what is happening around oil today as political blackmail toward Hungary due to the uncompromising stance of Hungary on Ukraine’s EU membership,” Fico said after meeting U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Bratislava.
