DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Airport Authority has announced that United Airlines will be adding a fifth daily flight to its schedule between Duluth and Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
Starting on March 29th, United will add an early departure flight allowing for single day business trips to Chicago and access to a variety of domestic and international destinations from there.
Duluth Airport Authority Director, Tom Werner, says the addition is a strong vote of confidence in the Duluth market and passengers. He says when travelers choose to fly out of Duluth it demonstrates demand and justifies the airlines to maintain or expand their service.
Besides United flights to Chicago, Delta Airlines offer six daily nonstop flights to Minneapolis-St. Paul from Duluth International Airport.
