March 27 (Reuters) – Tiger Woods was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence on Friday after his Land Rover rolled over on a two-lane road near his Jupiter Island home in Florida, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said.
Woods, 50, was found to have shown signs of impairment and refused to submit to a urine test at the jail, and a breathalyzer test returned no trace of alcohol, with investigators believing the impairment was drug or medication-related.
No injuries were reported.
