Two-time WNBA champion and four-time All-Star guard Kelsey Plum is signing a one-year, $999,999 contract to return to the Los Angeles Sparks, ESPN reported on Sunday.
In line for a $1.4 million supermax deal, Plum reportedly opted to take a discounted price as a means to provide financial flexibility for the Sparks.
Plum, 31, averaged 19.5 points and 5.7 assists in 43 games (all starts) last season, her first with Los Angeles.
She has averaged 15.1 points and 4.3 assists in 278 career games (236 starts) since being selected by the then-San Antonio Stars/Las Vegas Aces franchise with the top overall pick of the 2017 WNBA Draft out of Washington.
