DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, Minnesota and Wisconsin will be participating in Tornado Drill Day on Thursday.
Duluth and other cities in the area will be sounding outdoor warning sirens during the drill at 1:45 p-m and again at 6:45 p-m.
The test warnings will also be broadcast on radio and TV stations in coordination with the National Weather Service.
Residents are encouraged to practice tornado sheltering plans with their families during the drill.
