DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Record setting high temperatures, strong southerly winds and low relative humidity will lead to critical fire weather conditions across the entire region again on Monday.
The National Weather Service Office in Duluth has issued a Red Flag Warning for northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin on Monday from noon to 9 p-m.
The weather conditions mean any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control.
Any outdoor burning is not recommended and the DNR will not issue or activate open burning permits during the Red Flag Warning.
Campfires are also strongly discouraged.
