DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth International Airport will be conducting a full scale emergency exercise on Thursday from 4 to 9 p-m.
The drill will include emergency vehicles and simulated injuries but will have no effect on scheduled flight operations.
Those in the terminal building during the hours of the exercise may notice activity on the north side of the airfield.
The emergency preparedness exercise is mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration and plays a vital role in maintaining operational safety and also involves local and regional emergency response agencies and volunteers.
