SHANGHAI (Reuters) -China’s foreign ministry said on Saturday that Chinese vice premier He Lifeng will visit the United Kingdom between June 8 and June 13.
The first meeting of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism will be held with the United States during this visit, the ministry said.
He led the Chinese side in the first round of trade talks in May. President Donald Trump said on Friday that U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will represent Washington in the talks.
