WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday his administration was considering taking over governance of Washington, DC, the city that serves as the seat of the federal government.
Trump, speaking during a cabinet meeting at the White House, said his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, was in close touch with the city’s elected mayor, Muriel Bowser, a Democrat.
