DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin more bridge work on I-35 in Duluth on Monday which is expected to last through October.
Lane closures and traffic crossovers will be in place on northbound I-35 just north of the 40th Avenue West on-ramp near the ore docks. The single lane head to head traffic will be using the southbound lanes as the work begins.
The project will coordinate traffic controls with work that is currently underway on I-35 through the downtown area. Head to head traffic in that area will remain through mid August.
Congestion and delays can be expected especially during peak travel times and motorists are reminded to eliminate distractions and obey lowered speed limits.
