DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Denfeld High School in Duluth was locked down for about 15 minutes as a student was arrested on a felony warrant Tuesday morning.
School administration and Duluth Police made the decision to put the school in lock down out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of students.
The student, wanted on 2nd degree assault and possession of a dangerous weapon, was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Arrowhead Juvenile Center.
Following the arrest, the lock down was lifted and the normal school day resumed.
