DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Organizers are expecting to see heavy demand when online registration begins for the 50th Grandma’s Marathon on Wednesday.
Registration also opens for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and William A. Irvin 5-K at the same time, 7 p-m on October 1st.
Last year there were record setting registration numbers as the half marathon and 5-k sold out in less than two days and the marathon was full in a month.
Because interest in the 50th running of the marathon is high, the marathon will open to more participants this year while the half marathon and 5-k will take fewer.
All together there will be 19 thousand entries up for grabs on a first come, first serve basis.
To register or get more information go to grandmasmarathon.com
The races will be held during the weekend of June 18th to 20th.
