DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – To show support for those dealing with cancer, members of the Duluth Police Department will be wearing pink patches, bracelets or shirts during the month of October.
To raise funds for the American Cancer Society, the police are selling those pink patches, koozies, silicon bracelets and specially branded t-shirts to the public.
Patches can be ordered at this website https://secure.acsevents.org/site/TR?team_id=2823412&fr_id=110834&pg=team
The other items can be purchased online at https://pink-patch-project.itemorder.com/shop/home/ and are also for sale during business hours at the Public Safety Building on North Arlington Avenue.
The Duluth Police Pink Patch Project began in 2021 and has raised over 6800 dollars so far in the continuing fight against all cancers.
