DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Corps firefighters are improving containment lines and mopping up hot spots in the Crosby wildfire.
As of Monday, the size of the fire remains at 300 acres and containment is now at 70 percent.
A lightning strike on October 8th was determined as the cause of the blaze.
A portion of the Superior Hiking Trail within the Crosby-Manitou State Park remains temporarily closed but the park is open.
