Expect Delays As Aerial Bridge Is Inspected This Week

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Aerial Lift Bridge will undergo inspections starting Monday requiring frequent, slow lifts of the bridge.

The inspection work will continue through the week and motorists should plan for possible delays and allow extra time when using the bridge to reach your destination.

The work includes detailed mechanical and electrical inspections of bridge components.

The City of Duluth will also be inspecting the Minnesota Slip bridge, so pedestrian traffic over that bridge behind the DECC may also face minor delays during the week.
