GRAND LAKE TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – A 67 year old man has died after being trapped under a tracked snow groomer in the 6800 block of the Carlson Road in Grand Lake Township on Tuesday.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department, the man was using the older piece of equipment to plow snow from a private driveway and the accident did not take place on a snowmobile trail.
First responders declared the victim dead at the scene.
The incident is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
