SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – On Wednesday afternoon, Superior Police responded to the intersection of Tower Avenue and Belknap Street on reports of a pedestrian hit by a car.
A preliminary investigation indicated the pedestrian, a 57 year old man, was crossing Tower Avenue in the crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle that was turning south from Belknap onto Tower.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved and several witnesses remained on the scene.
No other information was immediately available.
