UNDATED (KDAL) – Daylight Saving Time begins again this weekend.
Officially, on Sunday morning at 2 a-m, clocks should be advanced an hour to 3 a-m. Or, most people will just set clocks ahead an hour when going to bed on Saturday night.
Daylight Saving Time will remain in effect until Sunday, November 1st when clocks go back an hour for Standard Time.
Again this year there have been some legislative efforts to eliminate the twice a year time change but, so far, no final action has been taken. Hawaii and Arizona are currently the only U-S states that do not participate in Daylight Saving Time.
Local fire departments say residents can use the time change as a reminder to change batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
