MIDWAY TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – A semi truck pulling an empty flatbed trailer got stuck in the snow while crossing the railroad track at the intersection of the Stark and Stark Junction Roads in Midway Township on Friday morning.
The driver of the semi was attempting to put chains on the tires when the train approached. He was able to move away from the truck before the train crashed into it.
There were no injuries and the incident is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department and the Canadian National Railroad.
